Memorized Being Overweight

Do you have any idea how it would feel NOT to struggle with your weight?

Does it feel like you have no control over the actions you do that keep you overweight?

If that sounds like you, it’s because you are emotionally addicted and have memorized how to live in a body you don’t love and no diet or exercise program will end your addiction!

If you were to love your body and be happy with your weight, it wouldn’t feel normal. It would actually feel wrong. That is one reason you sabotage your weight loss efforts.

Your Body Has Memorized Being Overweight!

If your body didn’t memorized your daily actions, you would have to re-learn how to walk, tie your shoes, brush your hair and all the other normal activities you do every day. The problem is it has memorized how to keep you overweight and that feels normal to you even though you don’t like it! 

For example, if you get home and go straight to the kitchen to get something to eat and then sit in front of the TV and eat it, that is a memorized pattern in your body. Your body is conditioned to do it without your conscious thought. The actions of your body walking, opening the fridge, reaching to get a plate and sitting in the same spot on the couch are all conditioned, memorized patterns. 

It’s like driving a car. After you learn how to drive a car, you don’t have to think about it. You get in and your body has memorized how to drive and does it without your conscious thought. When you sit in the driver’s seat and push the brake, then the gas, then a turn signal, that is your body’s memorized conditioned actions, not your conscious thought. 

If your body has memorized how to be overweight, it will keep you there for your entire life until you understand how to release it!

This is a HUGE reason why diets don’t work.

When you’re about to go on a diet how does it feel? You’re not jumping up and down excited to deprive yourself of all the foods you love, are you? You more than likely are feeling a bit excited that this time it’s going to work and…

A Bit Annoyed That You’re Going On Another Diet! Ugh! 

Your body has memorized feelings and behaviors associated with dieting. Even seeing or hearing someone say the word, “Diet” creates a feeling in your body, like defeat or frustration, disappointment or shame. This is another reason you should never go on another diet again!
