The Language Of Your Body
Your body is constantly talking to you. Are you listening?

A disease normally gives you many signs that something is wrong before anything manifests.

Here are signs to watch for:

  • Constantly tired
  • Brain fog
  • Trouble with digestion
  • Sleep issues
  • Skin issues: itchy, lip balm, psoriasis, etc.
  • Leg swelling
  • And more

Constantly Tire(1)

Top reasons for fatigue include:

  • Eating too much sugar
  • Drink lots of caffeine
  • Low-Iron
  • Dehydration
  • Unbalanced lifestyle
  • No exercise

Number one, get off the sugar and caffeine! Sugar and caffeine affect your adrenals, nervous system and overall health. If you hit the sugar or caffeine in the afternoon, it is highly probable you’ll have trouble sleeping. Fatigue can also be caused by low-iron in women who are anemic. Be sure you’re eating dark green leafy veggies or taking an iron supplement if you are anemic. (Check with your doctor.) Dehydration is another cause of fatigue. Create a system to make sure you get enough water throughout your day. Create a lifestyle of balanced rest, exercise, fun, and work. Rest is part of health!

Brain Fog(2)

If you feel like you can’t concentrate, remembering things or it feels like you’re in a haze, you might have brain fog. 5 symptoms of brain fog include:

  • Lack of sleep
  • Nutrient deficiency
  • Sugar overload
  • Depression
  • Possible Thyroid condition

You’ve done one of the best things for brain fog and that’s a DETOX! =) F

Now start taking a high-quality multi-vitamin.

(Helpful: Stay away from sugar!)

5-ways to improve brain fog include:

  1. Eat in 12-hour increments to give your gut a break
  2. Exercise (Take 2-weeks free to my online Get Fit program click here)
  3. Get better sleep. (Quick video to help here: https://youtu.be/HbvJkNLXQrE)
  4. Keep your gut healthy with probiotics and probiotics
  5. Eat good fat and protein (Omega-3 & Q10)

Brain fog is not normal and doesn’t come with age. It can be remedied and you can think more clearly!

Trouble Digesting (3)

By now you should understand the importance of a healthy digestive tract. If you are feeling bloated constipated or have diarrhea, your body is telling you what you’re eating isn’t the best choice. To make sure your digestion is running optimally you must read the language of your gut and that comes through your elimination. Here is a chart to help you understand the language of your poo: Stool color is generally influenced by what you eat as well as by the amount of bile in your stool (4). 6 reasons the form of your poo is not normal include:

  1. Dehydrated
  2. Medications
  3. Antibiotics
  4. Exercise Habits
  5. Autoimmune disease
  6. Stress

What color should your poo be?

Healthy poo is light to dark brown and doesn’t have an intense smell.

Don’t get me wrong… It will smell but not be overpowering. This chart shows the various colors of poo and what they mean:

Stool quality

What it may mean

Possible dietary causes

Green Food may be moving through the large intestine too quickly, such as due to diarrhea. As a result, bile doesn’t have time to break down completely. Green leafy vegetables, green food coloring, such as in flavored drink mixes or ice pops, iron supplements.
Light-colored, white or clay-colored A lack of bile in stool. This may indicate a bile duct obstruction. Certain medications, such as large doses of bismuth subsalicylate (Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol) and other anti-diarrheal drugs.
Yellow, greasy, foul-smelling Excess fat in the stool, such as due to a malabsorption disorder, for example, celiac disease. Sometimes the protein gluten, such as in breads and cereals. See a doctor for evaluation.
Black Bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract, such as the stomach. Iron supplements, bismuth subsalicylate (Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol), black licorice.
Bright red Bleeding in the lower intestinal tract, such as the large intestine or rectum, often from hemorrhoids. Red food coloring, beets, cranberries, tomato juice or soup, red gelatin or drink mixes.

(Taken from (4)) What color should your pee be?

Healthy pee is nearly clear!

Nearly clear pee is telling you you’re well hydrated and everything is working optimally(5). Healthy pee will have a slight odor but not overpowering. Overpowering odor can be a sign of dehydration or something more serious like a urinary tract infection. Here is a chart of pee color to be aware of(5): Your body speaks to you through your elimination. Now you know its language. Start observing what is normal for you and Pay Attention regularly!

Sleep Issues(6)

Sleep issues are when your brain has trouble turning off and allowing you to rest. Possible causes include:

  • Chronic pain
  • Medications
  • Stress
  • Heartburn
  • Depression
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
  • Heavy meals before bed

Good sleep is crucial for good health. Here is an easy routine to follow before bed:

  • Turn the TV and computer off an hour before bed
  • Read something with soft light (red light is the best)
  • Drink Valerian or chamomile tea (more sleepy teas click here)

If you get up in the middle of the night, don’t turn on the light. The light will signal your brain it’s time to get up. Always use soft or no light when getting out of bed. Lastly, melatonin can also help you sleep. It is created in the body to help you sleep and supplementing could support you.

Skin & Breath issues (itchy, lip balm, psoriasis, etc)(7, 8)

Your skin is the largest organ in your body. It protects you from outer elements that may harm your delicate systems inside. There are special immune cells in the skin that protect you from viruses, bacteria, and other harmful substances. If your skin changes in color, not due to sun exposure, texture or starts to itch, it is telling you something isn’t right…Pay Attention! First, get to know your skin by having your moles check on a regular basis. Know where they are and what is normal looking. I found a clients melanoma when it just started forming! Itchy skin, bad breath, and yellow eyes can be an indication your liver may be having issues. I’ve had psoriasis most of my adult life and discovered recently that it’s probably a copper deficiency. I’ve been taking a copper supplement daily and my psoriasis is looking a ton better and the inching as subsided to nearly nothing. Things that can cause skin irritation include the following:

  • Wheather (sun, wind, cold, dry temp)
  • Food
  • Lotions
  • Cleaners
  • Laundry soap
  • Allergies
  • Depression/Anxiety/ OCD
  • Insects
  • Fungus

Know your body. Your skin should look and feel good. If it doesn’t, something in your environment, diet or emotions needs to change. For more info on skin issues and what to do about it click here.

Tightness and Knots In Your Body

If you feel a knot in your body, or pain in your joints, it might be stuck fascia.

Fascia is a thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds your muscles. It can get tight if you don’t drink enough water; if you do repetitive movements, and if you sit for long periods of time.

Plus, when you feel knee or elbow pain, it might not be the joint but the fascia around the joint pulling on it.

A friend was having back pain once. It came up when she drove a lot. I had her do a stretch that lengthened her driving leg and she felt a ton better. The pain wasn’t coming from her back it was the surrounding tissue that was getting stuck and putting pressure on her back.

Using a foam roller or lacrosse ball on tight muscles or muscles around painful joints works even better than stretching. It will actually help you stretch even further.

When you foam roll it lengthens the fascia and helps get it unstuck, which is usually causing the pain.

Here is a video I created that teaches you how to foam roll click here

To get your foam roller click here

For your lacrosse ball click here.

To help your fascia stay elastic and moving drink plenty of water especially after foam rolling. Your fascia is more open at that time and will suck in the water helping it to be more flexible.

When you have knots or pain your body is telling you something is stuck. Get it moving again and you’ll feel a ton better!

Always check with your doctor if the pain doesn’t go away.

Your Body’s Language

As you can see your body has a language of its own. If you pay attention and acknowledge when it’s speaking to you, you will have have a high quality of life and age gracefully. Not paying attention can lead you down the road to disease. You deserve the best quality of life possible!

Optimal Nutrition Plan
The foundation of your nutrition should nourish your body’s systems, leave you feeling energetic and at a healthy weight! Everyone is different so always check-in with your body and see how you feel on a new nutrition plan. Optimal Meals (based on stomach acid digestion timing):

  • Fruit for breakfast or with a green/protein shake + good fat
  • Unrefined Carbs for lunch with veggies and good fat (no protein)
  • Protein for dinner with veggies and good fat (no starches)
    • Eat dessert first wait 40-60 minutes then have dinner. Best if you go for a 10-minute walk afterward. (Or no dessert.)

Optimal Snacks:

  • Good fat
  • Nuts/Seeds
  • Fruit by itself and wait an hour before eating anything else
  • Unrefined carbs like sweet potato with Ghee or coconut oil (no protein)
  • Protein shake as an after dinner snack or before bedtime snack (no fruit)

See your “What to Eat” link above and look at your Cookbook for more ideas.

To optimize your vitamins & minerals eat different foods often.

Optimize Your Nutrients

100% Bioavailable Daily Multi-vitamin

Your body rarely gets the vitamins and minerals it needs through food. Taking a 100% bioavailable multi-vitamin may give your body the following:

  • More energy
  • Better clarity
  • Better ability to deal with stress
  • Better sleep
  • Help your cells function optimally

I recommend Perque Life Guard click here This supplement energizes & alkalinizes the body, promoting vitality you can feel. It has 40 essential nutrients. It is proven in a Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Trial to be 100% bioavailable versus 5-20% for competitor multis. And is one of the purest vitamins on the market!

I highly recommended to include these supplements moving forward:

  • Probiotics each morning 20-30 minutes before breakfast or before bed
  • A digestive enzyme with each or most meals
  • Daily Multi-vitamin click here
    • 100% Bioavailable
    • D3
    • Complex B’s
    • Folate not Folic Acid (Folate is the naturally occurring form of vitamin B9. Folic Acid is a synthetic form of vitamin B9 that’s also known as pteroylmonoglutamic acid.)
    • Selenium (Helps to make DNA and protect against cell damage and infections.)
    • Quercetin (May help protect against heart disease and cancer, stabilize cells and is anti-inflammatory.)

Keep your gut healthy with these two:

  • Use Oxy-Powder use at least once a month or every other month for 2-3 nights in a row.
  • Have a Green protein shake for most breakfasts at least 3-4 days a week or as snack once a day

Plus, the following…

Probiotics

Your gut loses good and bad bacteria every day. What you eat feeds one of the two different types. You don’t need to take a probiotic 100% of the time but one month on and one month off will support your gut tremendously! If you have digestion issues, your first go-to should be a probiotic.

Digestive Enzyme

Here are six ways your stomach loses digestive enzymes  :

  1. Sugar
  2. Stress
  3. Processed foods
  4. Toxins in tap water
  5. Age
  6. GMO foods

When you have a digestive enzyme with most meals it supports your stomach to break down your food so your body can absorb the nutrients. Keep some in your purse and in your car so you have a constant supply when you need them.

CoQ10(10)

CoQ10 is a supplement that supports the energy pathways of your cells. Many health conditions like heart disease, brain disorders, diabetes, and cancer have been linked to low levels of CoQ10 (10). CoQ10 is made by the body and stored in the mitochondria of your cells. The mitochondria in your cells is responsible for producing energy and protecting your cells from free radicals, bacteria, and viruses.

  • Here is a list of benefits that CoQ10 have shown:

CoQ10 may support…

  • Your heart
  • Fertility
  • Younger looking skin
  • Reduction of headaches
  • Exercise performance
  • Diabetes
  • Cancer prevention
  • Brain health
  • Lung health

A good one I’ve found is made by Sports Research and made from Coconut oil click here

Gummie alternative click here

EPA’s & DHA (11)

EPA and DHA are your Omega 3’s and they are crucial for brain health! Every single cell in your entire body needs these fats! These fats support your cell’s to repair and produce new cells. EPA reduces cellular inflammation. DHA is the most abundant fatty acid in the brain and supports the structure and function of your nerve cells. The essential fatty acids support the following:

  • Memory
  • Cognition
  • Emotional Well-Being

Here is a pure EPA & DHA supplement that uses purer deep-sea fish oils that are nitrogen distilled to prevent oxidization and rancidity damage. To check them out click here

Cancer Insights(12)

What is Cancer?

Cancer is a mutated cell. I truly feel that cancer is a fungus.

A healthy immune system takes care of cancer.

According to Dr. Leonard Coldwell, the root-causes of cancer are the following:

  • Lack of energy
  • Chronic stress
  • Lack of Self-Love
  • Compromising yourself
  • Environmental issues
  • Food & water quality

Cancer is a self-sabotage response to the energy in your body.

Since 1911 we know that cancer cannot exist in an oxygen rich and alkaline environment.

Your body renews within weeks.

  • 1-7 billion liver cells renew each second. (In 6-weeks you have a brand-new liver.)
  • Kidneys renew every 8-weeks
  • Lungs renew every 8-months
  • Soft-tissue in skin renews every 72-hours
  • Full-body skin renews every 4-weeks
  • Entire body renewed in 21-months

When energy is low-enough cancer can grow.

Stress is the #1 cause for acidity in the body.

86% of all illness and doctor visits are stress related.

56% of people in the world will get cancer!

Cancer is a symptom. It is not the cause.

Cancer is telling you one of 4 things…

  1. You are not happy with something in your life.
  2. There is an environmental issue affecting your health.
  3. You are toxic from food or water
  4. You are deficient in something

Dr. James Forsythe

Dr. James Forsythe who has been studying medicine since the 1950’s, was the 1st oncologist in Reno, Nevada and started the first 3-cancer wards there; was the head of the VA cancer program, the Associate professor at the medical school in Nevada and author of “Take Control of Your Cancer” and “Anti-Cancer Diet”.]

The survivor rate of stage 4 cancer with conventional medicine is 2% after 5-years.

Dr. Forsythe has a 72% survival rate of all cancer types.

The first thing he does is a complete profile of your cancer and what you’re deficient in.

Then he prescribes:

  • Supplements that you are deficient in
  • Detox to cleanse your system
  • Clean diet
  • Oxygenation therapy (Food grade hydrogen peroxide)

For Cancer Prevention Heal, Support & Improve Your Cell’s Functions and Boost Your Immune System!

A cancer cell has more insulin receptors than a regular cell and takes up sugar. Dr. James Forsythe Trojan Horse model: He sends a small dose of chemotherapy with insulin so the cells think sugar is coming in and take the chemo into their cell. The side-effects are greatly reduced. They have seen a 90% reduction in tumors with this method in a 4-week period. He focuses on immune boosting therapies which include the following:

  • High doses of vitamin C
  • L-Glutathione
  • Poly-MVA: Supports cellular energy production, oxygenation, and rejuvenation of cells click here

10-Foods That Prevent Cancer

(Taken From Food Revolution Network)

Heavy metals are found in cancer patients.

One of the #1 ways heavy metals enters the body is in tap water!

These metals have been found in tap water:

  • Arsenic
  • Uranium

  • Lead
  • Silver (may come from fillings in the mouth)
  • Tin (may come from fillings in the mouth)

Research in Europe Dr. Raul in Switzerland found that Amalgam fillings have been linked to breast cancer on the same side as the filling. He also found that the dental meridian in your molars leads to the breast meridian.

Over Use of Radiation For Detection of Cancer: Your immune system is very sensitive to radiation. CAT (CT) Scan is 600 times the radiation of a simple chest x-ray. PET Scan is a radioactive material injected into your vein and is 5-times worse than a CT scan. You can find the same info from tumor-markers on your blood.

Better Breast Cancer screenings are Ultra Sound or Doppler method or thermography. MRI’s are fine as well.

Take responsibility for your health!
