GetFitA recent paper that Stanford published in Nature Medicine showed that you lose 8% of muscle mass per decade after age 40!
And….
“You lose 15% of muscle mass per decade after the age of 75, a trend that is irreversible,” cites Gilbert, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Biomaterials & Biomedical Engineering (IBBME) and the Donnelly Centre for Cellular & Biomolecular Research (CCBR).
Yes, they say after age 75 it’s very challenging, nearly impossible to regain your muscle mass! That’s why you need to build it before that age so you can be strong and vital no matter what birthday you’re on!
