  1. Hormone Balance: Your hormones play a critical role in your body weight, energy, and health. We won’t be going over hormones in this program and if this is a concern for you, I recommend checking out https://www.drritamarie.com/
  2. Healthy Digestion: Your digestion is seriously critical in maintaining a healthy weight, having the energy and brain focus that you want. Plus, 80%  of your immune system actually lives in your intestinal tract! They have found that chronic metabolic diseases start in your gut. If your gut is not healthy, you will have challenges releasing weight and could be moving your body toward disease. (2)
  3. Reduce and Eliminate Toxins: Toxins include herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, pharmaceutical residues, petroleum byproducts, pollutants, and so much more. When the liver, your detoxing organ, is overloaded with toxins, the body will story them as fat to protect itself. This means the number of fat cells increase to handle excess toxins in the body. These fat cells don’t function optimally and can release excess Leptin causing even more weight gain. Leptin is the hormone that regulates hunger and when the body is leptin resistant it store more fat. (3)
  4. Insulin Balance: Insulin is one of the key factors in regulating your metabolism and energy. Insulin is secreted from the pancreas to move sugar or glucose from the bloodstream into the cells of your body where it can be used. Insulin also communicates with your fat cells. It can tell your fat cells to stay in the body and not burn off. It does this when your insulin is chronically high. Chronically high insulin will store fat! (4)

Understanding Your Digestion:

  • Mouth: Breaks down food using enzymes. You should chew at least 25 times before swallowing so the food is in a liquid state.
  • Stomach: Breaks down food using hydrochloric acids & enzymes.
  • Liver (5):
    1. Filters blood from the stomach and intestines. Performs more than 500 functions.
    2. Detoxifies infectious organisms, alcohol, heavy metals, drugs, chemicals, toxic byproducts and other poisons from the blood.
    3. If it’s overwhelmed with toxins it will store them and that will effect the function of your liver.
    4. Produces bile, a substance needed to digest and absorb fats. Bile aids in digestion by helping the body absorb fat and certain vitamins, including Vitamins A, D, E and K. In addition, the liver converts the food we eat into nutrients the body can use.
    5. Storage facility to house many crucial substances, such as iron, certain vitamins, minerals and glycogen until they are needed
    6. Processes almost everything we ingest via our mouth, breathe into our lungs or absorb through our skin.
    7. Manufactures a variety of important proteins, including enzymes, hormones, blood proteins, clotting factors and immune factors. The liver also produces cholesterol, which carries energy-supplying fats around the body and is a building-block for hormones to regulate metabolism and growth.
  • Gallbladder(6):
    1. Storage and transportation of bile. Bile is a yellowish-brown fluid produced by the liver and used to break-up and digest fatty foods in the small intestine.
    2. Acts like an anti-oxidant. Bile from the Gallbladder behaves like an anti-oxidant and can remove toxins from the blood and ingested food.
    3. Bile fluid is alkaline in nature and it alkalizes acidic food coming from the stomach.
    4. Aids GREATLY in digestion & absorption
    5. Also aids in elimination of waste
  • Pancreas(7):
    1. Secretes insulin to help the cells in the body use glucose.
    2. Aids in digestion by secreting other digestive juices and enzymes
    3. Your insulin levels cause weight to remain on your body or allow you to release it.

  1. Small Intestine: Takes digested food from your stomach and digests it further, using bile from your gallbladder and liver and enzymes from the pancreas. Take nutrients and liquid into the body.
  2. Appendix: The appendix monitors internal pH, the toxic load present, probiotics balance, plus it sends messages to the immune system regarding activity in the bowel.
  3. Large Intestine: absorbs water and vitamins and converts digested food into feces for elimination.

Check with your doctor and make sure these supplements will work for you. Do this especially if you’re on meds. Always take meds 2-3 hours before or after detox, enzymes or probiotic supplements.

Last thoughts:

When considering cost, think per serving price. It’s not the cost of the item but the cost of each serving you’re really paying for.

Don’t take my word for it!

Do your own research and make sure these supplements are right for you and ALWAYS check with your doctor before taking supplements. They may affect your meds.
