What You MUST Know About the $1-Trillion Dollar a Year Food Industry:

What You Need To Know:

If you are overweight, it’s highly likely that you are ADDICTED to certain kinds of food.
This is NOT your fault!

The food industry has scientists create drug-like foods that keep your body chemically addicted!
This has NOTHING to do with you not having the willpower to stop eating!

Your hormones, taste buds and brain chemistry have been hijacked by the food industry!
Not metaphorically, but Biologically!

The worst of it is that you are hooked on the worst, deadliest drug on the planet…SUGAR! (Please review the “Sugar” page from your “What To Eat” link above.)

The scientists hired by the food industry know the EXACT amount of sugar, salt, and fat to put in your food causing you to CRAVE it over and over again!

It’s a stronger addiction than heroin!

The $1-Trillion industrial food system is the biggest drug dealer around, responsible for contributing to tens of millions of deaths every year and siphoning trillions of dollars from our global economy through the loss of human and natural capital.” Dr. Mark Hyman

Two Important Keys About Sugar:

  1. It feeds bad gut bacteria
  2. It feeds cancer

You’ll learn more negative effects of sugar later.

Where Cravings Come From

You could be addicted to food if you…

1. Consume certain foods even if you are not hungry, because of cravings.
2. Worry about cutting down on certain foods.
3. Feel sluggish or fatigued from overeating.
4. Have spent time dealing with negative feelings after overeating certain foods, instead of being productive with family, friends, work, or recreation.
5. Have withdrawal symptoms such as agitation and anxiety when you cut down on certain foods (caffeine not included).
6. Behavior with respect to food and eating causes you significant distress.
7. Have issues related to food and eating decrease your ability to function effectively with your daily routine, being social or doing family activities, yet you keep eating the way you do.
8. Need more and more foods to crave to experience any pleasure or to reduce negative emotions.

Food cravings and addictions are a biochemical problem, not an emotional one! Meaning the chemicals in your brain and running through your body are creating the craving.

When you get your biochemicals back in balance cravings will go away.

Refined Sugar and Your Liver

There is growing scientific consensus that one of the most common types of sugar, fructose, can be toxic to the liver, just like alcohol (1)

Fructose makes fruit sweet. For most of us eating it in its natural state is a healthy choice.

However, consuming fructose that has been processed with most of the nutrients and fiber taken out is a recipe for disaster for your liver and other organs in your body!

The statistic on your right is taken from SugarScience.UCSF.edu.

Nearly all added sugars contain significant amounts of fructose.3 Typical formulations of high fructose corn syrup contain upwards of 50% fructose, depending on processing methods. Table sugar and even sweeteners that sound healthy, like organic cane sugar, are 50% fructose. (1)

What you need to know about high fructose corn syrup:

  • Very addictive
  • Cheaper than refined sugar
  • Sweeter than refined sugar
  • Turns off leptin that hormone that tells your brain you’re full
  • Found in nearly all store-bought baked goods
  • Found in sauces

Eating Fructose Is Far Worse Than Eating Fat. -Dr. Mercola

It’s time to move toward health and away from disease. Keep refined sugars like processed fructose out of your diet as much as possible!

The Four Foods To Avoid

“According to the State of the World 2000 report from the Worldwide Insitute, the world is in the midst of a nutrition crisis. In the developed countries 1.2 billion people, including most Americans, are now “starving” and undernourished because they are overfed with too much of the wrong foods. The average American diet does not support the biological needs of human cells. (2)”

You may be full from your meal but is it nourishing your body?

Remember the two causes of disease?

Toxicity and Deficiency

With food manufacturers favoring shelf-life of their product over health and their ability to label their product as healthy, and doctors not being educated in nutrition and how food affects the body, it’s no wonder you are confused!

Here are four of the worst foods to stay away from and, unfortunately, they are the biggest bulk of the American diet:

  1. Sugar
  2. White Flour & Wheat
  3. Processed Oils
  4. Milk product

Understanding White Flour & Wheat(3):

White flour was once a wheat grain. It is in almost all bread, pasta and baked goods. It is highly processed and can be stored for long periods of time.

In 1941, due to a severe nutritional problem in the population, our government passed legislation requiring certain nutrients be put back in the flour and “Enriched flour” was born.

More than 25 nutrients have been taken out of white flour!

A handful is added back to “Enrich” it but the nutrition value for your cells in minimal at best.

To make matters worse, white flour has nearly no fiber, which is essential for regular bowel movements and to help eliminate toxins.

Eating too much white flour has been associated with constipation, hemorrhoids, colitis, and rectal cancer.

Better choices of unrefined flour are:

  • Almond flour
  • Coconut flour
  • Ground golden flaxseed

IMPORTANT: Stay away from gluten-free substitutes like corn starch, potato starch, rice flour, tapioca starch. These will spike your blood sugar, cause weight gain, belly fat and inflammation.

Why is wheat bad?

Okay, this may be hard to hear but wheat contains a very unusual type of carbohydrate (not found in other foods) called Amylopectin-A, which has been found in some tests to spike your blood sugar higher than even pure table sugar.

This means that wheat-based foods such as bread, bagels, cereals, muffins, and other baked goods often cause much higher blood sugar levels than most other carbohydrate sources.

The higher your average blood sugar levels are over time, the quicker your body ages. I’m not talking just wrinkles and thinning hair but also how well your organs function, and whether your joints are degrading.

Plus, wheat foods almost always contain gluten which can be EXTREMELY hard on your body and cause inflammation in your intestines.

Gluten is a sticky substance that holds the food together. This is a sticky substance that doesn’t break down well in the body and thus your intestines have a hard time dealing with it and become inflamed.

When your body is inflamed it is seriously hard for it to release weight.

A review paper in The New England Journal of Medicine listed 55 diseases.

CAUTION: When you start to detox from wheat you may have withdrawals like fatigue, headache, cravings, that happen from gliadin-derived opiates.

Understanding Processed Oils(4,5,6):

It is crucial for your cells to eat good fats and oils and processed oils are not that.

Good fats and oils are what your cell membranes are made out of. They support the permeability of the membrane which is crucial for your cells.

Eating processed vegetable oils will cause the cell membrane not to function correctly and toxicity can build-up in your cells.

This happens because processed veggie oils increases your omega 6 fat intake, which will not only increase your body’s inflammation, but also reduce the omega 3 fats that are available in your tissues, which induces even more inflammation.

Omega 6 fats will actually undo the benefits you get when eating omega 3s.

Dr. Joseph Hibbeln from the National Institutes of Health researched the impact of omega 6  and omega 3 fats on your health. He found that over-consuming omega 6 fats and under-consuming omega 3 fats puts you at a higher risk for:

  • Heart disease
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Metabolic syndrome or pre-diabetes
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Inflammatory bowel syndrome
  • Macular degeneration (eye damage and blindness)
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • Psychiatric disorders
  • Autoimmune disease

To give your cells the support they need stay away from proceeds vegetables oils as much as possible!

COOKING OILS

There are good oils to cook with and olive oil is not one of them. Olive oil, like most oils sold in supermarkets, is not good to cook with because of the heat. The structure and nonsaturated fats, when used with high heat, can produce carcinogenic compounds that may put you at risk for lung cancer when inhaled.

Also, when oils are heated above 392-degrees it changes the structure of the oil into a trans-fat which causes a weak and harms the integrity of the cell membrane. This means the cell isn’t able to keep good nutrients in and toxic substances out.

Purchase small bottles of olive oil. Keep it in a cool dry place and put the cap on immediately after using it.

The more air it gets the quicker it will breakdown and become rancid. If it is rancid, it will smell like crayons, taste like rancid nuts and have a greasy feel in your mouth.

If it is over the expiration date, don’t use it.

Keywords to look for when choosing oils are organic, non-GMO and unfiltered.

Good fat includes:

  • Avocado
  • Nuts and Seeds-walnuts, almonds, pecans, macadamia; not peanuts
  • Olives
  • Extra-virgin, cold-pressed, organic Coconut oil (pic ())
  • Extra-virgin, cold-pressed, organic Olive oil (use ONLY on salads not to cook with)
  • Fatty fish—sardines, mackerel, herring, and wild salmon—that are rich in omega 3 fats
  • Grass-fed meats and butter

Bad Fats Include:

  • Canola
  • Corn
  • Cottonseed
  • Peanut
  • Safflower
  • Soybean
  • Sunflower oils
  • All hydrogenated oils

Cook with the following:

  • Ghee (clarified butter from grass-fed, pasture raised cows)
  • Coconut butter

The oils your body needs can be found in a near equal 1:1 ratio of essential fatty acids (EFAs) with omega-6 and omega-3.

Why is dairy bad?

Dairy is meant to create a 2-3 ton animal. It is not meant for human consumption!

Watch this video: https://youtu.be/0O-ehIkwGME

Dairy: 7 Reasons You Should Avoid It at all Costs with Mark Hyman, MD

  1. Your body becomes more acid when metabolizing dairy so instead of building your bones and tissue it pulls calcium from them.
  2. Most of the population is allergic to dairy causing inflammation in the body when they consume it. (It’s been shown that 50% of all children are allergic to dairy.)
  3. Dairy milk is high in phosphorous and low in magnesium which your body needs to utilize calcium so it’s unable to absorb it.
  4. Too much calcium in the body can lead to kidney stones, bone spurs, gout and atherosclerotic plaque.
  5. Dairy milk causes localized inflammation in the intestines of infants and can lead to iron deficiency anemia.
  6. Dairy has been shown to be a factor in prostate cancer.
  7. Dairy is full of saturated fat that is linked to heart disease.

Bottom line is to choose other dairy alternatives!

Better choices include:

  • Organic Non-GMO Almond milk, hemp, coconut
  • Make Cashew cheese recipe  (Click Here)
  • Goat or sheep yogurt
  • Vegan ice cream (Click Here)

Choose food that is meant to support the cells of your body. Dairy is not one of them.

The Power Inside Your Body!

Watch the first Universal Law click here

The thoughts and pictures in your mind create your reality!

What’s inside your body:

  • You have 50-100 trillion cells in your body
  • In each cell you have 100 trillion atoms
  • In each atom there are numerous protons
  • If you made one atom the size of the dome of the Vatican, your protons would be the size of a pin.
  • Inside your protons are planks and if you grew one Plank to the size of a grain of sand the proton would stretch from our sun to Alpha Centauri (4.367 light years away from earth which is a little under 25 trillion miles from the sun!)
  • The number of Planks in every proton is = to the mass of the entire Universe

This means there is enough information in one proton for ALL the protons in the Entire Universe to be expressed or that…

Understanding Your Liver

Your Liver:

Your liver is the largest gland in your body. You can remove 75% of your liver and it will regenerate in 6-weeks.

Its main purpose is to aid in digestion by secreting bile filled enzymes to help break down fat in the food you eat, so it can be absorbed by your small intestines.
A Healthy Liver also does the following:

  • It regulates the composition of blood, including the amounts of sugar (glucose), protein, and fat that enter the bloodstream.
  • It removes bilirubin, ammonia, and other toxins from the blood. (Bilirubin is a by-product of the breakdown of hemoglobin from red blood cells.)
  • It processes most of the nutrients absorbed by the intestines during digestion and converts those nutrients into forms that can be used by the body. The liver also stores some nutrients, such as vitamin A, iron, and other minerals.
  • It produces cholesterol and certain important proteins, such as albumin (Albumin makes up about 60% of the total protein in the blood and plays many roles in the body. It is also routinely tested to determine a person’s overall health status.)
  • It produces clotting factors, chemicals needed to help blood clot.
  • It breaks down (metabolizes) alcohol and many drugs.

When the liver gets overloaded processing too many toxins, it will store toxins causing it to not function optimally.

If you have a healthy liver, you have a healthy body.

(8)Symptoms of a Sluggish Liver Include:

  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Depression
  • Headaches
  • Constipation
  • Digestive Difficulties
  • Chemical Sensitivities

What are liver stones?

Liver stones happen when there is too much cholesterol in the body. This can happen by eating too many fatty foods or it can be hereditary. The excess cholesterol can crystallize and turn into a small stone. Your detox will help remove any liver stones.

Common liver problems include:

  • Cirrhosis of the liver due to alcohol and hepatitis
  • Fatty liver caused by alcohol and insulin issues in overweight people with diabetes

80% of all cases of liver toxicity are caused by pharmacological drug reactions.

The best diet for your liver includes:

  • Low in protein and sodium
  • Raw fruits and vegetables
  • Approximately 30% to 40% of your diet should consist of dark green leafy vegetables
  • Orange, red, purple, and yellow colored fruits and vegetables
  • Avocados and oily fish such as salmon, tuna, and sardines
  • Raw seeds such as flaxseed, sunflower, and alfalfa seeds
  • Certain oils (primrose, black currant seed, and cold-pressed olive oil to name a few)

Regularly cleanse your liver and your body will function optimally and keep you feeling GREAT!

Your Liver Cleanse

Your Cleanse:

Your cleanse will help to detox, flush and purge the liver of deposits, and toxic build-up.

To Expect When You Detox Your Liver:

  • Watery and frequent elimination
  • Possible fatigue
  • Possible moodiness or sadness
  • Possible cramping
  • Possible headaches if you’re not drinking enough water
  • Possible rashes on your skin due to toxic release

To reduce these symptoms drink more water.

IMPORTANT: Do not do vigorous exercise but walk at least 10-minutes after most or all meals to help your cells move and release toxins.

Meal Options

Follow the instructions guidebook. You can eat shakes and any liquid except fruit juices.

Limit: White meat to every other day

No: Dairy, enriched flour, wheat, barely, rye or red meat and do not microwave your food or skip meals.

BIG TIP: PLAN, PLAN, PLAN!
