Agenda
WARNING!

woman release from painWeek 5 and 6 are crucial points in your program because the excitement of a new program has worn-off. Now your normal patterns are being challenged and you don’t have the same feeling about the program that you started with. If you don’t pay attention, your patterns may win and could go back to what you’re used to doing and how you’re used to feeling about yourself.

This is the time to really understand the main theme of this program and that is…

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU AND NOTHING TO FIX!

The ONE Thing for you to do is accept all parts of your personality especially the parts you that are at a lower frequency leaving you feeling unsatisfied or unhappy. Those are only parts of your personality. There is nothing bad about them. They come from your past and they are showing you your past.

When you full accept them and even tell them that it’s okay to live inside of you, they lose their power and you become free!

That part of you that may be saying, “This isn’t going to work” accept that it’s there. You don’t have to believe it or allow it to make your life choices but you DO HAVE TO ACCEPT that it’s a part of you. Breathe into the feeling and let it be there without making it right, wrong, good or bad or trying to fix it. If you fully accept it being in your body and being a part of your personality, it will release it’s hold on you!

When you feel the emotion start to dissolve and lighten-up, ask yourself why or what if questions like…

What if this is easier than I think?

What if it’s truly possible for me to give myself a break and feel better about myself?

Why am I starting to understand this more and more?

Why is this starting to feel so good in my body?

When You Master This Practice You Will Be Living In a Body You Love!

5 Crucial Elements To Maintain A Healthy Weight
  1. Hormone Balance: Your hormones play a critical role in your body weight, energy, and health. We won’t be going over hormones in this program and if this is a concern for you, I recommend checking out https://www.drritamarie.com/
  2. Healthy Digestion: Your digestion is seriously critical in maintaining a healthy weight, having the energy and brain focus that you want. Plus, 80%  of your immune system actually lives in your intestinal tract! They have found that chronic metabolic diseases start in your gut. If your gut is not healthy, you will have challenges releasing weight and could be moving your body toward disease. (2)
  3. Reduce and Eliminate Toxins: Toxins include herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, pharmaceutical residues, petroleum byproducts, pollutants, and so much more. When the liver, your detoxing organ, is overloaded with toxins, the body will story them as fat to protect itself. This means the number of fat cells increase to handle excess toxins in the body. These fat cells don’t function optimally and can release excess Leptin causing even more weight gain. Leptin is the hormone that regulates hunger and when the body is leptin resistant it store more fat. (3)
  4. Insulin Balance: Insulin is one of the key factors in regulating your metabolism and energy. Insulin is secreted from the pancreas to move sugar or glucose from the bloodstream into the cells of your body where it can be used. Insulin also communicates with your fat cells. It tells your fat cells to store fat and don’t burn it. If your insulin is are chronically high, it will store fat! (4)
  5. Emotional Balance: Your emotions are chemical and frequencies in your body that affect your systems like your energy, sleep, immune system and more. The food you eat affects your emotions. What you focus on affects your emotions. The great thing is it only takes practice to become more emotionally balanced.
Language of Your Body

Trouble Digesting (3)

A healthy digestive tract. If you are feeling bloated constipated or have diarrhea, your body is telling you what you’re eating isn’t the best choice. To make sure your digestion is running optimally you must read the language of your gut and that comes through your elimination. Here is a chart to help you understand the language of your poo: Stool color is generally influenced by what you eat as well as by the amount of bile in your stool (4). 6 reasons the form of your poo is not normal include:

  1. Dehydrated
  2. Medications
  3. Antibiotics
  4. Exercise Habits
  5. Autoimmune disease
  6. Stress

What color should your poo be?

Healthy poo is light to dark brown and doesn’t have an intense smell.

Don’t get me wrong… It will smell but not be overpowering. This chart shows the various colors of poo and what they mean:

Stool quality

What it may mean

Possible dietary causes

Green Food may be moving through the large intestine too quickly, such as due to diarrhea. As a result, bile doesn’t have time to break down completely. Green leafy vegetables, green food coloring, such as in flavored drink mixes or ice pops, iron supplements.
Light-colored, white or clay-colored A lack of bile in stool. This may indicate a bile duct obstruction. Certain medications, such as large doses of bismuth subsalicylate (Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol) and other anti-diarrheal drugs.
Yellow, greasy, foul-smelling Excess fat in the stool, such as due to a malabsorption disorder, for example, celiac disease. Sometimes the protein gluten, such as in breads and cereals. See a doctor for evaluation.
Black Bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract, such as the stomach. Iron supplements, bismuth subsalicylate (Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol), black licorice.
Bright red Bleeding in the lower intestinal tract, such as the large intestine or rectum, often from hemorrhoids. Red food coloring, beets, cranberries, tomato juice or soup, red gelatin or drink mixes.

What color should your pee be? (4)

Healthy pee is nearly clear!

Nearly clear pee is telling you you’re well hydrated and everything is working optimally(5). Healthy pee will have a slight odor but not overpowering. Overpowering odor can be a sign of dehydration or something more serious like a urinary tract infection. Here is a chart of pee color to be aware of(5): Your body speaks to you through your elimination. Now you know its language. Start observing what is normal for you and Pay Attention regularly!

Sleep Issues(6)

Sleep issues are when your brain has trouble turning off and allowing you to rest. Possible causes include:

  • Chronic pain
  • Medications
  • Stress
  • Heartburn
  • Depression
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
  • Heavy meals before bed

Good sleep is crucial for good health. Here is an easy routine to follow before bed:

  • Turn the TV and computer off an hour before bed
  • Read something with soft light (red light is the best)
  • Drink Valerian or chamomile tea (more sleepy teas click here)

If you get up in the middle of the night, don’t turn on the light. The light will signal your brain it’s time to get up. Always use soft or no light when getting out of bed. Lastly, melatonin can also help you sleep. It is created in the body to help you sleep and supplementing could support you.

Skin & Breath issues (itchy, lip balm, psoriasis, etc)(7, 8)

Your skin is the largest organ in your body. It protects you from outer elements that may harm your delicate systems inside. There are special immune cells in the skin that protect you from viruses, bacteria, and other harmful substances. If your skin changes in color, not due to sun exposure, texture or starts to itch, it is telling you something isn’t right…Pay Attention!

First, get to know your skin by having your moles check on a regular basis. Know where they are and what is normal looking. I found a clients melanoma when it just started forming! Itchy skin, bad breath, and yellow eyes can be an indication your liver may be having issues.

I’ve had psoriasis most of my adult life and discovered recently that it’s probably a copper deficiency. I’ve been taking a copper supplement daily and my psoriasis is looking a ton better and the inching as subsided to nearly nothing. Things that can cause skin irritation include the following:

  • Wheather (sun, wind, cold, dry temp)
  • Food
  • Lotions
  • Cleaners
  • Laundry soap
  • Allergies
  • Depression/Anxiety/ OCD
  • Insects
  • Fungus

Know your body. Your skin should look and feel good. If it doesn’t, something in your environment, diet or emotions needs to change. For more info on skin issues and what to do about it click here.

Tightness and Knots In Your Body

If you feel a knot in your body, or pain in your joints, it could be telling you that the way you’re siting, or laying down is causing your  fascia to become stuck.

Fascia is a thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds your muscles. It can get tight if you don’t drink enough water; if you do repetitive movements, and if you sit for long periods of time.

Plus, when you feel knee or elbow pain, it might not be the joint but the fascia around the joint pulling on it.

My sister was having back pain once. It came up when she drove a lot. I had her do a stretch that lengthened her driving leg and she felt a ton better. The pain wasn’t coming from her back it was the surrounding tissue that was getting stuck and putting pressure on her back.

Using a foam roller or lacrosse ball on tight muscles or muscles around painful joints works even better than stretching. It will actually help you stretch even further.

When you foam roll it lengthens the fascia and helps get it unstuck, which is usually causing the pain.

Here is a video I created that teaches you how to foam roll click here

To get your foam roller click here

For your lacrosse ball click here.

To help your fascia stay elastic and moving drink plenty of water especially after foam rolling. Your fascia is more open at that time and will suck in the water helping it to be more flexible.

When you have knots or pain your body is telling you something is stuck. Get it moving again and you’ll feel a ton better!

Always check with your doctor if the pain doesn’t go away.

Your Body’s Language

As you can see your body has a language of its own. If you pay attention and acknowledge when it’s speaking to you, you will have have a high quality of life and age gracefully. Not paying attention can lead you down the road to disease. You deserve the best quality of life possible!

[Tip: Don’t put your vitamins in the cupboard until you’re used to taking them. Keep them on the counter where you can see them and remember to take them. Add a reminder on your cell if that will help.]

Me: Mirror Practice
Mirror PracticeEvery time you look in the mirror look at your body with appreciation that it allows you to have this human experience.

Say out loud or to yourself…

“It feels so good to accept MY personality just the way it is! I’m curious to discover who I AM living in a body I love!”

Then, RELAX! =)

Note: If you notice yourself looking at something you don’t like, remind yourself that is just a memorized pattern. It’s not who you are choosing to be any longer.

Quick: Body You Love Integration Questions

Ask yourself the right Questions will change everything and start synching your heart and your mind.

Ask questions that lead your heart and mind to want the same outcome!

“Why is it getting easier to accept ALL of me and be okay with my personality?”

“Why is it so much easier to eat in a way that leaves me feeling good about myself?”

It will feel different and that’s the point!

Let yourself feel safe in feeling different.

You can do this!

Victory: Visualize or Journal

woman writing on her note

Visualize: When you’re in bed visualize your next day by saying to yourself, “If I was living in a body I love for the past 5-years, what would my day look like tomorrow?”

See it! (What words and pictures would be in your mind about yourself?)

Hear it! (What are you saying to yourself? What are other people saying to you?)

Feel it! (How do you feel about yourself?)

Journal: Each night write down or think about the 3-5 things you did that left you feeling good in your body and about yourself. It’s VERY important to allow yourself to see how well you’re doing.

This Is The Foundation of Living In A Body You Love!

Acknowledging yourself will feel different. Let yourself feel different. It would support you tremendously to post what you’ve done well for the day on your private page click here!

Let Us Celebrate You!

Sounds: Shower Practice

For instance, all the times your arms have hugged your loved ones, your hands have cooked meals, your legs have gotten on and off seats, your feet have climbed thousands of stairs and walk miles and miles during your life.

Let it be a time of gratitude for what your body has and can do for you. ENJOY YOUR SHOWER!

Give Yourself Permission To Feel Good!

Good: Gut Health
