Emotional Expansion Rite Of Passage

Throughout history people have done rituals and rites of passage to signify a change in their status from one way of being to another more expanded way of being. For example, a sweet 16 coming out part is a rite of passage for a girl to become a woman.

A rite of passage marks the time when a person reaches a new and significant change in their life. It is something nearly all societies recognize and often hold ceremonies for.

These ceremonies are held to observe a person’s entry into a new stage of life and can be anything from a high school graduation ceremony or a birthday party, to a funeral. Most rites of passage help people to understand their new roles in society.

Exploring Body's Conditioned Patterns

Your Body’s Conditioned Behaviorsv2

Your body is conditioned to behaviors you do everyday.

Your body is like a robot. Some of its programming was installed before you were born and some later in life.

However, the majority was programed between the ages of one to six years old when your mind was mostly running in Theta brainwaves.

Theta brainwaves occur when we are sleeping but are also appear in deep meditation. Theta is creates your learning, memory, and intuition. When your brain is in Theta your senses are withdrawn from the external world and you are focused on your emotions. At that time your emotions are patterning who you become in the world and your behaviors.

You may have routines and patterns that you do as an adult that weren’t created from younger years. Those patterns also live in your Theta brainwaves since you do them without conscious thought.

It’s like driving a car, tying your shoes, brushing your teeth. Your body can do all those things without conscious thought because it’s programmed to do it.

It’s time to explore your body’s conditioned behaviors and I have a form to help you do that!

Use this form and start your exploration…

The first part of this form is to know your situation or emotional triggers. It can be as simple as fatigue.

What happens that triggers a behavior that keeps you in a body you don’t love?

It also doesn’t have to be a trigger. It can be a pattern or routine like going to ice cream after the movies and that’s just something you’ve always done without thinking about it.

You must know the triggers, or patterns your body is used to doing so you can see when it happens.

Please know that when you are tired, stressed or in overwhelm your sub-conscious will take over and your body will run your day. Your conscious mind will be too tired to focus on change it and it will not care.

It’s easier to let your sub-conscious run your life when you’re tired.

This is NOT the time to make yourself wrong.

It’s time to have compassion, understanding and love for yourself.

In the form above the last two columns will help you start to see how things can be different and help you find the lesson your higher-self wanted you to get out of your addictive feelings and behaviors.

You are still in month one and this is about exploration.

You are moving toward wisdom.

Mirror PracticeEvery time you look in the mirror look at your body with appreciation that it allows you to have this human experience.

Say out loud or to yourself…

“I Accept All I’ve been through on my life journey without making it right, wrong, good or bad.”

Then, RELAX! =)

Note: If you notice yourself looking at something you don’t like, remind yourself that is just a memorized pattern. It’s not who you are choosing to be any longer.

Before you go to sleep each night journal, write down or think about 3-5 things you did well.

You can do this!

Also imagine who you are living in a body you love.

What would that feel like laying in your bed?

What words and pictures would be in your mind about yourself?

How you feel about yourself throughout your day?
